In Yuma, nurseries are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have time to answer questions. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Check the listing for hours, seasonal closures and Google rating before you go.

Yuma is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Yuma follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wonderful selection and very kind, knowledgeable owner. Please note that they will be closing this nursery within a year or so due to the sale of his land. Things are starting to be discounted.... So get down there and get your cactus! He has palm trees🌴, pieces of petrified wood, and other varieties of desert plants as well.

Well informed staff. We are new to southern Arizona, but they were happy to answer all our questions, and how to properly transplant our yucca so they are healthy. Definitely will be back!

We took our 3 year old granddaughter to visit and had a wonderful time. She is still talking about it and the wonderful day we had. We were greeted so warmly and treated like good neighbors. Glad to make the acquaintances and find such a nice place to visit and buy a cactus.

Brought our 3 year old to show her lots of kinds of cacti as we are studying the desert right now in homeschooling. Dale and Tom were very friendly and helpful, and they offer a great assortment of cacti, desert plants, rock, and other unique options for lawn decor.
